TEXAS A&M QUOTES
Head Coach G Guerrieri
On the match...
"It was great for us to be outside playing on such a beautiful night at Ellis Field. We were pleased to see our ladies play some really attractive soccer. The ball movement was quick and precise and there was some great work off the ball by our ladies."
On responding to Lamar's goal…
"We are just getting started with the non-traditional season, so this is still a starting point for us. Lamar scored a great goal, but we responded well, scoring two within the next five minutes."
On adding the newcomers to the mix...
"It was nice seeing all our healthy players in the lineup tonight. Three newcomers – Ali Russell, Katie Smith and Daria Britton made their Ellis Field debuts tonight and played really well."
