COLLEGE STATION, Texas --- Texas A&M appears well-equipped to post its 13th straight top 10 team finish at the 2019 NCAA Women's Swimming & Diving Championships after qualifying an impressive 11 swimmers for the national meet on Wednesday.
The Aggies' 11 qualifiers were tied for the seventh-most in the nation, and Texas A&M was one of just 13 teams with double-digit qualifiers. The Aggies will be seeking to add to their NCAA team when the dive crew competes at the NCAA Zone D qualifier March 11-13 at the University of Texas in Austin, Texas. Additionally, Texas A&M named its four relay-only swimmers.
The four-time defending Southeastern Conference Champion Aggies posted a second-straight third-place finish at the 2018 NCAA Championships, which matched the highest finish in program history. The 2019 NCAA Championships will be contested March 20-23 at the University of Texas.
