BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- Texas A&M junior Courtney Dow earned SEC Women's Co-Golfer of the Week honors, the league announced Wednesday. Dow won her first collegiate event, the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational, March 13.

Dow was the only player in the 75-player field to avoid finishing over par, navigating the Kaneohe Klipper Golf Course at even-par 216 to win by three strokes. Dow's performance helped the Aggies to a third-place finish, the team's best of the season.

Her first-round 68 was the best round of the tournament, and she co-led the event with 10 birdies. Dow leads the team with a 73.40 stroke average on the season.

It is her first career weekly honor from the Southeastern Conference. She is the second Aggie to be named SEC Golfer of the Week this season, joining Amber Park (Mar. 6).
