WACO, Texas – No. 2 Texas A&M Equestrian concluded the regular season with an 11-9 victory over No. 5 Baylor Saturday at the Willis Family Equestrian Center. Â

With the win, the Aggies head into the SEC Championship with a 9-4 leger while Baylor falls to 7-4.

In the meet's first event, Equitation over Fences, the Aggies wasted no time jumping out to a 3-0 lead, with Grace Boston, Haley Redifer and Caroline Dance defeating their opponents with scores of 78, 79, and 73, respectively.

In Reining, Kalee McCann struck first for the Aggies, edging out Georgia Smith, 67-66.5. Ashton Dunkel followed with a 67-62.5 victory over Maggie Cincotta.

Texas A&M's Horsemanship group improved to 10-2-2 on the season following a 3-2 win in the event. Ashley Davidson drew first blood for the Maroon & White, defeating Kaylee Mellott, 74.5-71. Alex Albright edged out Abbi Demel, 73.5-73, before Sarah Orsak concluded the event with a 73.5, bettering Marley Mainwaring's 72.

The Aggies concluded the meet with a 3-2 triumph in Equitation on the Flat. Adele McKenna defeated Shannon Hogue, 83-80, before Rebekah Chenelle topped Grace Thiel, 75-70. Caroline Dance tallied a 76-73 victory over Caroline Weaver.

The Aggies return to action March 29th in the SEC Championship at the Hildebrand Equine Complex.
