COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Five members of the Texas A&M Equestrian team earned six National Collegiate Equestrian Association Ariat All-America Honors, the NCEA Selection Committee announced Wednesday.

Alex Albright and Sarah Orsak earned first team recognition in Horsemanship, Rebekah Chenelle earned second team honors in Equitation on the Flat and Equitation Over Fences as Haley Redifer (Fences) and Ashley Davidson (Horsemanship) earned honorable mention distinction.

Albright notched 10 victories and helped lead the Horsemanship squad to a No. 2-seed at the upcoming NCEA Championships. The sophomore was named Most Outstanding Player (MOP) three times and recorded four wins against SEC competitors.

Chenelle, a five-time All-American, led the Aggies with 21 victories in the Hunter Seat including 11 in Fences and 10 in Flat. The senior registered two MOP honors in both events and was named to the SEC All-Championship Team in Fences. Chenelle posted a 6-2 ledger against SEC opponents in Fences and tallied four league wins in Flat.

Davidson was second on the team with 10 victories in Horsemanship as the junior recorded three MOPs, all of which came against SEC opponents. The Burbank, Wash., native garnered two SEC Rider of the Month honors in October and March.

The team leader in Horsemanship victories with 11, Orsak began the season with a 9-0-1 record in the first 10 meets. The senior posted a season-high score of 78 against Georgia in November and was named MOP for her performance.

Redifer had a stellar freshman campaign as the Barboursville, Va., native went 8-4 in Fences. Redifer was named MOP three times and scored a season-high 91 against Auburn on March 1.

Texas A&M returns to action April 17-20 at the NCEA Championships at the Extraco Events Center in Waco, Texas.
