COLLEGE STATION – The Aggies return home this weekend for the Texas A&M Alumni Muster, which will be held Saturday at E.B. Cushing Stadium. In addition to the seniors being recognized, this weekend serves as a reunion for the Aggie alums.

"There will be close to 200 former athletes returning with their families, so we're going to have a big weekend with a reunion," noted Texas A&M head coach Pat Henry. "It'll be fun for those who helped build this place to come back and see the facilities and watch a track meet. I'm excited for them and so pleased with the contributions they made to Texas A&M."

Running events begin at 5 p.m. while field events get started at 12:30 p.m. Recognition of the reunion, followed by the Aggie seniors, will begin at 4:30 p.m.

"I think most of them will be pretty surprised when they get here and have a look at the stadium and facility," added Henry. "We will also have a group of alums who are world-class athletes competing in the meet."

Jessica Beard, the 2011 Bowerman winner for Texas A&M, will race in the women's 200m along with Simone Facey, the 2008 NCAA champion in the event. The men's 200m will feature Deon Lendore, the 2014 Bowerman winner for the Aggies, along with Fred Kerley, who broke the 400m collegiate record. Will Williams, the 2018 NCAA Indoor long jump champion, is scheduled to compete in the 100m and long jump.

Lendore and Kerley will also team up in a 4x400 relay which includes Jamal Walton and Donavan Brazier, who broke a 50-year-old 800m collegiate record his freshman season in winning the NCAA title.

Aggie alums scheduled to compete also include Michael Bryan (100m, 200m), Jennifer Madu (100m), Sam McSwain (high jump), Augusta Thomason (pole vault), and Cameron Villarreal (1,500m).

Teams competing in the Alumni Muster include Houston, North Texas, Stephen F. Austin, UT Arlington and UTSA. The meet will be available on SEC Network + (https://es.pn/2VYreZE) and live results will be available (https://results.leonetiming.com/?mid=1651).
