COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M placed No. 15 overall and No. 4 in the Southeastern Conference in the final 2018-19 Learfield IMG Directors' Cup standings that were released on Friday.

"It was a tremendous year across the board, and I'm extremely proud of what the coaches, student-athletes and staff were able to achieve in 2018-19," Texas A&M Interim Director of Athletics R.C. Slocum said. "The No. 15 ranking is the culmination of a lot of hard work and sacrifice. I'm excited about the accomplishments and progress we've made throughout our athletics department, and I am also looking forward to continued growth and achievements in the future."

Texas A&M has now finished in the top 20 of the Directors' Cup for 13 straight seasons. Texas A&M joins California, Florida, North Carolina, Stanford, Texas, UCLA and USC as the only schools with at least 13 straight top 20 finishes in the prestigious ranking of overall athletics success at the collegiate level.Â

Seventeen of Texas A&M's 19 NCAA-sponsored athletics programs contributed points to the final standings, including top 10 efforts by women's track and field (No. 4), men's golf (No. 5), men's track and field (No. 6), women's soccer (No. 9), women's tennis (No. 9), women's basketball (No. 9), women's indoor track and field.
