Nine Aggies Set to Partake in 2019 FINA World Championships

GWANGJU, South Korea – Eight current and former Texas A&M swimmers are set to participate at the 18th FINA World Championships at the Nambu International Aquatics Centre July 21-28 in Gwangju, South Korea. The Aggies will represent eight different countries.

GWANGJU, South Korea – Nine current and former Texas A&M swimmers are set to participate at the 18th FINA World Championships at the Nambu International Aquatics Centre July 21-28 in Gwangju, South Korea. The Aggies will represent nine different countries.
 
Set to compete from Texas A&M's current rosters are rising sophomore Kaloyan Bratanov representing Bulgaria from the men's team, rising sophomore Kimi Raheem for Sri Lanka, rising junior Jing Wen Quah for Singapore and rising senior Anna Belousova for Russia from the women's squad.
 
Also competing from the women's side are recent graduates Sydney Pickrem who is representing Canada, Peru's McKenna DeBever, swimming for France is Béryl Gastaldello, plus former NCAA Champion and four-time Olympian Alia Atkinson represents Jamaica.
 
In addition to the swimmers, current Texas A&M Director of Operations and former swimmer Alex Dawson is representing the United States as their Head Manager.
