- Clemson Associate AD/Chief Financial Officer Eric George is a native of College Station, Texas, and earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from Texas A&M. He was a member of the football team in 2005 (redshirted) when the Aggies opened the season against Clemson in Clemson, S.C.
- Head coach Jimbo Fisher has faced Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney every season of his head coaching career...The pair battled annually in the ACC's Atlantic Division with Fisher's Florida State teams finishing atop the division in four of his eight seasons in the league.
