WHAT TO WATCH FOR #LAMARvsTAMU
  • The Aggies and Cardinals face off for just the second time. A&M leads the series, 1-0.
  • A&M is 29-1 in its last 30 non-conference home games, with the only loss coming in 2018 to a Clemson team that went undefeated and claimed the national championship.
  • Junior WR Jhamon Ausbon needs six catches to become the 18th player in school history to reach 100 career receptions.
  • Junior QB Kellen Mond needs one victory to move into the top 10 (tie) on the Aggies' winningest starting QBs list.
  • Mond needs 88 passing yards to become the ninth Aggie QB to reach the 5,000-yard mark in career passing yards. He needs four passing TDs to become the eighth Aggie to reach 40 passing scores.
  • Junior transfer DB Elijah Blades missed much of preseason camp due to injury. He made his first start at Clemson and finished with four solo tackles and a sack for a 16-yard loss.
  • Texas A&M has scored double-digit points in 42 straight games.
  • The 2019 roster features the second-fewest number of seniors in the country with six. This ranks just behind Virginia Tech with five. No other SEC school has 10-or-fewer seniors.
