Aggie Women Nab More Olympic Team Trials Cuts

AUSTIN, Texas --- The Texas A&M women's swimming team posted wins in two of three races on the day and also piled up five U.S. Olympic Team Trials cuts at the Longhorn Long Course Invite on Friday at the Jamail Texas Swim Center.
Taking race victories were junior Anna Belousova in the 100-meter breaststroke (1:08.35) and senior Claire Rasmus in the 200-meter freestyle (2:01.08).
Logging Trials cuts were Rasmus in the 200 free, 2018 senior Bethany Galat in the 100 breaststroke (1:10.91), sophomore Haley Yelle in the 200 free (2:01.40), 2017 senior Sarah Gibson in the 200 free (2:01.64) and sophomore Camryn Toney in the 400 IM (4:49.27.
