Facts and figures from Texas A&M Football as the Aggies get set to take on Ole Miss this weekend in Oxford.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR:

 

  • Ten of the Aggies’ 23 touchdowns have been scored by true freshmen: TE Jalen Wydermyer (4), WR Ainias Smith (3) and RB Isaiah Spiller (3).
  • Juniors Dan Moore Jr. and Kellen Mond will be making their 20th consecutive starts on Saturday vs. Ole Miss.
  • Junior QB Kellen Mond is climbing the all-time winningest QB list at A&M and is currently tied with Mark Farris for ninth with a 17-9 record.
  • Mond needs three passing TDs to be tied for fourth on A&M’s career list with Corey Pullig (92-95) ... He enters the Ole Miss game with 44 passing TDs.
  • Mond needs 12 pass attempts to reach 800 career pass attempts ... He would be the eighth player in school history to reach the milestone.
  • With four more completions, junior QB Kellen Mond will reach 500 completions for his career, which has been accomplished by only four other Texas A&M signal callers (Jerrod Johnson, Johnny Manziel, Corey Pullig and Kevin Murray).

  • In the season opener against Texas State, 17 Aggies made their collegiate debut ... A&M saw nine true freshmen, three redshirt freshmen and a pair of transfers hit the field.
  • So far this season, 15 true freshmen have seen the field ... RG Kenyon Green and S Demani Richardson have started all six games, while TE Jalen Wydermyer has made four starts and RB Isaiah Spiller has made two.
  • A&M has seen two true freshmen notch multi-touchdown games this season after Spiller rushed for a pair against Lamar and Wydermyer caught a pair of TD passes against Alabama.
