Texas A&M’s Hans Named to Regional All-Tournament Team

MADISON, Wis. – Texas A&M outside hitter Hollann Hans was named to the seven-member NCAA Wisconsin Regional All-Tournament Team, following the conclusion of the regional Saturday at the UW Field House.
The Corpus Christi native led the Aggies with 20 kills and 22 points in A&M's semifinal loss to No. 4 Wisconsin on Friday. It was the 12th time this season and 30th in her career Hans tallied 20 or more kills, all while finishing in double figure kills in the last 27 matches.
In her senior season, Hans averaged 4.49 kills per set and 5.25 points per set, while leading the Aggies to their first NCAA Regional appearance since 2009. She ends her illustrious four-year career ranked second in A&M program records in both points (1,929.5) and service aces (183) and ranked third in kills (1,640).
Joining Hans on the all-tournament team is Brooke Van Sickle from Hawai'i, Lexi Sun and Jazz Sweet from Nebraska, Sydney Hilley, Dana Rettke and Molly Haggerty from Wisconsin. The Badgers' Haggerty was also named the Region MVP.
