WHAT THEY SAID
Head Coach Jo Evans
On tonight's game…
"We got four hits, and they got five hits. They hit the ball hard a couple of times. In the first inning, we really hurt ourselves. We walked two and we give up a popup with two outs where we could've gotten off the field with no runs scored in that inning. You got a five-inning game and its 8-0 with three earned runs, you know that all is not well on the defensive side. We have to be better than that. You have to keep your composure. We stopped talking to each other. We stopped taking care of each other and we let the moment get to big. We are 45 games into the season and for us, that looked like a game you start the season with as a young ball club. Obviously, I am disappointed with our lack of composure."
