Freshman infielder Jourdyn Campbell talks about her first collegiate season.
What was your favorite game to play?
"Probably the third game against Kentucky in that series. We all just really clicked that game and brought it home for the win. Then we beat Texas State, then the season got canceled."
What are you doing to stay entertained during the quarantine?
"Not really anything exciting. A lot of the time I'm sitting here looking at my phone and think I'm missing out on something because I'm done really doing anything. It's a lot of that. I also started teaching myself how to cook, just some basic things. Other than that… I still practice, just me and my dad pretty often. I'm lucky, luckier than most I think, because I have access to a field still since a lot of parks are closed right now. [The field is] actually my orthodontist's and my dad and I just use it sometimes, when nobody's there."
What were you most looking forward to this season?
"I was really looking forward to just playing with this team. We have a really good dynamic; there really wasn't any drama and bonded really well early on."
