Your brother CJ is on the track team too, what's it like having a sibling on the team? Do you have any funny stories or memories growing up on who is more competitive?

"Having a sibling on the team is great, especially being so far away from home.  My Freshman year was kind of hard coming from California to Texas, so having my brother here really helped me.  We grew up together, he knew me for me, so in practice he could tell when I wasn't feeling a certain way.  It was just a good feeling to have somebody who knows me there.  Growing up I didn't really play sports, but CJ has played almost every sport you could imagine since we were little.  I wouldn't say one of us is necessarily more competitive than the other, CJ is just more attention-seeking."

Being from Cali, which is better In N Out or Whataburger, and what is your go-to meal?

"In N Out no doubt.  My go-to meal is animal fries, a double-double burger with extra sauce and a strawberry shake."

What is your favorite Aggie tradition?

"My favorite Aggie tradition is the Aggie ring, and I actually missed my ring day because of the quarantine."

Do you prefer Hulu, Netflix, or Disney+?  What's your favorite streaming service and what shows do you like to binge? Have you seen Tiger King? If so, do you think Carole Baskin killed her husband?

"I have all three streaming services but I think Netflix is the one I go on more.  I usually binge watch Criminal Minds or Jeopardy.  I really like criminal shows and documentaries, but now that I have so much time I watch pretty much everything.  I've probably seen all of the Netflix originals.  I watched Tiger King and I do think that Carole Baskin killed her husband.  She just seemed like a crazy lady and killing her husband would be something that she would do."

What is something you miss most about not having an outdoor season?

"I really miss making the memories my senior year.  The quarantine has taken away time we could have had together with all the people we've made bonds with throughout the years.  We don't get to see some of our really good friends and share memories of the sport we've been doing for the longest time, it all ended so abruptly.  I'm going to miss going to practice every day and all the jokes we make and team meetings."

Do you have any interesting hobbies? What are your favorite quarantine activities?

"I downloaded Tiktok, but I don't make that many Tiktoks myself.  I also have a YouTube account.  I've been trying to make YouTube videos but I usually start them and don't end up actually finishing them.  I go on walks more than usual now, I take my dog on a lot of walks because I have nothing else to do.  Online shopping is another thing I've been doing a lot more.  I mean I usually shop online but now I do even more. I don't have a favorite store in particular, I just buy what I think is cute.  I'm big on reviews so if it doesn't have a review I probably won't buy it online."

Why do you love being a part of the Women's track team? Can you share a favorite memory?

"Being a part of the track team is a lifelong experience.  Coach Henry is always saying that these are the people we're going to keep in contact with the rest of our life because we've shared so many experiences together.  We're such a big group but we all encourage each other.  Everyone on the team is always there to help you.  Like, in the locker room girls will leave flat irons and body washes for others to use, even if they aren't someone you normally talk to they're willing to help.  It is hard to talk to every single girl on the team every day since we are such a big team but I've recognized that everyone is always willing to help each other out."
