NORMAN, Okla. – Texas A&M redshirt freshman William Paysse's strong first season was recognized with a berth on the National All-Freshman Team selected by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

Paysse, from Belton, Texas, posted an impressive 71.62 scoring average while seeing action in seven tournaments. He posted three top three finishes in the COVID-19-shortened 2019-20 season, including his first collegiate victory at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate. He had six rounds of 70 or better, including a career-low 7-under par 63 at the Sea Best Invitational. Â

Paysee had previously been named to the All-Southeastern Conference first team and the SEC's All-Freshman team.
