Howdy.

I wanted to take this time to share why I'm so excited for our players to be back on campus at Texas A&M, but I couldn't start without bringing to light the social injustice and the racial injustice that is happening across our country and we continue to deal with. As a coach, as a leader, I have committed to our team and our players to stand with them and be together. The conversations that we have had, very tough, emotional...that is what we all need to be doing. And I challenge every one of you to take a stand and start those conversations.

We grow when we're uncomfortable. We coach all of these players and these kids to be uncomfortable, to be great. It is so powerful to see them be vulnerable and talk to each other and speak right now, and it is not easy. But that's our challenge. And that's what we're here to do. There are little things, in the way we live...I talk about it all the time with our team. You've got to live right. You have to do things right. Right now, the way this country can be right is to stand together and be the change.

I'm so excited for our players to be back together and to have in-person conversations with each other and be and promote and model what it looks like to live right. And to support each other and respect each other. I can't wait to see everyone back in Reed Arena, but I can't wait for all of us to be a change. Thanks and Gig 'Em.
