There were a lot of laughs, a lot of smiles and a lot of very familiar music emanating from Kyle Field on Wednesday morning, as the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band took to the field for the first time this fall for practice.

Following the practice, members of the Athletics Department staff--led by Athletics Director Ross Bjork--handed out Gatorade to the cadets and thanked them for their support and hard work.

“Hey look, I know that it's been unusual,” Bjork told the cadets. “It's not right, maybe it's not fair. But whatever happens this season, we are prepared. Our jobs here are to provide opportunities. And we are doing everything in our power to provide you the opportunity to represent Texas A&M at every moment. Whatever that looks like. I can't tell you exactly what it's going to look like throughout the season, but I can assure you that we are doing everything to provide you the platform, you the opportunity, to represent this great University. And you do it the best. There's no band in the country like the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band.”
