First Round Tee Times Opens in a new window
FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The Texas A&M men's golf team will take on a strong all-Southeastern Conference field at Vanderbilt's Legends Collegiate Invitational, which will be contested Sunday through Tuesday at the Legends Club.

Representing the Aggies are seniors Dan Erickson, Walker Lee and Brandon Smith, junior Sam Bennett and sophomore William Paysse. The Aggies will be paired with host Vanderbilt and South Carolina in the first round and the team will tee off from the first hole from 9:50 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (CT).

Head Coach Brian Kortan says:
"It's an all-SEC field so it's going be a great field of teams. It's been a couple of weeks since our last competition (at the Blessings Intercollegiate) and the guys are ready to get back out there and compete. This team has lots of experience; they know how to compete and they expect to go out there and play well. We're expecting some weather and it's definitely going to be cooler so it should be a good test."

The Aggies' Lineup:
Dan ERICKSON Sr. Whittier, Calif.
Walker LEE Sr. Houston, Texas
Sam BENNETT Jr. Madisonville, Texas
Brandon SMITH Sr. Frisco, Texas
William PAYSSE So. Belton, Texas

Last Time Out:
Fayetteville, Ark. – The Aggies placed fifth at the season-opening all-SEC Blessings Intercollegiate at the University of Arkansas' Blessings Golf Club. Texas A&M fired rounds of 288-296-298 and were 18-over par. Senior Dan Erickson led the way with a runner-up individual finish at 4-under and was the only player to post three under-par rounds.
