Aggies Unable to Get By Texas in First Road Dual Meet

AUSTIN, Texas –
The No. 17 Texas A&M women's swimming & diving team fell to the No. 8 Texas Longhorns, 170-125, at the Jamail Texas Swim Center Friday night. The Aggies tallied 14 top-three finishes on the day, but were unable to come away with the victory.
 
Senior Jing Wen Quah touched the wall first for the Aggies in the 200 Fly. The Singapore native also earned a top-three spot in the 100 Fly and 200 IM, while also aiding A&M's top team in the 200 Medley Relay.
 
Senior Camryn Toney and freshman Emme Nelson added multiple top-three finishes for the Aggies, each earning a pair of second-place finishes on the day.
 
Freshman Chloe Stepanek performed well for the Maroon & White, earning a top-three finish in each of the events she competed in.
 
The diving team saw its first action of the season at Texas as Charlye Campbell led the way for A&M in the 3-Meter, posting a score of 369.08, good for a first-place finish.

The Aggies continue their season and return home to host TCU on Friday, Nov. 6th at the Rec Center Natatorium.
