No. 7 Aggies Fall to No. 1 Texas

AUSTIN, Texas –
The Texas A&M men's swimming & diving team fell to in-state rival, Texas, in a 178-111 loss at the Jamail Swim Center. Junior Shaine Casas highlighted the evening with three individual wins.
 
Casas placed first in the 100 Back, 200 Back, and 200 IM on Friday evening. The McAllen, Texas native aided the Aggies to a second-place finish in the 200 Medley Relay.
 
Sophomore Andres Puente added a top-three finish for the Aggies, coming in second in the 200 Breast. Junior Clayton Bobo also performed well for the Maroon & White, earning a second-place finish in the 50 Free.
 
Diving debuted at Texas as sophomore Louisville transfer Tony Stewart competed in the Maroon & White for the first time and posted a score of 339.38 to earn fifth on the 3-Meter board.
