At Texas A&M…
Since Graduation…
"After graduation I played on the Symetra Tour where I earned my card to the LPGA tour. In 2013, I injured my hip and, following a couple of surgeries, I retired from playing at the end of the 2015 season. I have since returned home to Australia where I am teaching in a high school (which is awesome). I am also currently serving as President of the Australia Ladies Professional Golf Tour (www.alpg.com.au)."
Message to the 12th Man …
"My message to the 12th Man is to be who you already are. The 12th Man is all about rallying behind to support each other... it might look a little different right now, but we can all make a difference by being kind, reaching out, and supporting fellow Aggies and our wider community."
Favourite memory…
"My favourite memory of my time at Texas A&M was when the Women's Basketball team won the National Championship. I love to hate on Duke, and I don't have much time for Baylor either... so it was particularly sweet. Our team was in California (for the 2011 Pacific Coast Intercollegiate at the Half Moon Bay Golf Links) at the time, and for the Championship game we found this really cool sports bar to watch - by the end of the game we were literally standing on the bar singing Hullabaloo... it was awesome."
Memories of the Golf Team…
"Our team was super tight. I think we were quite different as individuals, so we recognized each other's strengths and knew we were better for every single player on the team. Even the girls who didn't make the starting lineup were integral for the culture in our team. There was an unspoken rule that we would never give up and always give our best."
Do you keep up with the Aggies?
"I have been fortunate to stay in touch with the team. In my opinion, we have one of the most dynamic coaching duos in the country with Andrea (Gaston) and Katerina (Bruner). I think their (fairly) recent performance in Mexico shows the quality that they are building. Now that I am on the other side of it, I am the one pressing flesh, losing sleep and following live scoring - it's totally worth it!"
