Coaches Box
Head Coach Pat Henry
On the Aggie Invitational:
"This being our second meet of the season, the level of competition steps up just a little bit more. It's what we want to do, each week we go up one more step on the ladder. We had a good start last week and we want to come off that meet and continue to get a little bit better."
On running a 300m and 600m:
"We will put some people in different situations, so we're going to run a 300m and 600m at this meet. You just can't line up every week and have the athletes run their main events at every meet. This gives us an opportunity to dictate that a little bit."
On the competition:
"Baylor has one of the best collegiate pole vaulters ever and last week he set the indoor collegiate record. They have great relays, good quarter-milers and sprinters. Baylor always brings a competitive team. Houston comes in and they always have good short sprinters, so it'll be interesting to see what Houston does here this weekend."
