Wilson Earns Second at SEC Diving Championships

Junior Aimee Wilson led the diving team with a second-place finish on the 1-meter Wednesday evening at SEC Diving Championships at the Mizzou Aquatic Center.

COLUMBIA, Mo. –  Junior Aimee Wilson led the Texas A&M diving team with a second-place finish on the 1-meter Wednesday evening at SEC Diving Championships at the Mizzou Aquatic Center.
 
Wilson tallied a score of 318.85 on the 1-meter board to make A&M's first trip of the week to the podium. Senior Charlye Campbell also joined Wilson in the finals, placing fourth with a score of 302.00.


 
Junior Chloe Ceyanes made her debut at SEC Championships and scored 270.60, just missing the final cut in ninth place. Sophomore Alyssa Clairmont earned a top-15 finish for the Aggies with a score of 248.25.
 
The Aggies will return to action Thursday with women's 3-meter and men's 1-meter prelims in the morning and finals set to begin at 6 p.m.
