Aggies Quotes
Maggie Malone on:
taking a single throw…
"I was super nervous because this is my second Trials and I've had a really great season… I wanted to go on the runway and kind of just ease into it a little bit, I could feel myself shaking… I said, 'Matt this one for you.' My brother passed away earlier this week."
Â
her focus since setting the American Record…
Rhythm. I think that everything this year has been about the rhythm. For me technically I'm just trying to come in at a very rhythmic and level, I'm trying to get into the throw more level and with a taller chest. I don't want to crunch myself, I want to stand tall and just punch it.
Â
Athing Mu on:
the race…
"I knew it would be pretty fast because there's less people. I was prepared going out at 58 and it was comfortable. Just trying to make contact the whole race. Pretty happy with it."
Â
the heat…
"Water, water, water, pedialyte. We are from Texas so this is not the worst. We are prepared for it."
