Carrera Named NCEA Horse of the Month

Texas A&M equestrian horse Carrera has been named the National Collegiate Equestrian Association Horse of the Month, the NCEA announced Monday afternoon.

WACO, Texas – Texas A&M equestrian horse Carrera has been named the National Collegiate Equestrian Association Horse of the Month, the NCEA announced Monday afternoon.
 
Donated by Joseph Myerhoff, Carrera is in his 12th season with the Aggies and continues to put in stellar Fences rounds. Most recently on Jan. 29 against Baylor, Carrera scored a 90 and a 92, as well as earning Most Outstanding Performer honors with Aggie rider Haley Redifer. Carrera is the true definition of an Aggie, always giving his all for his team.
 
The NCEA Horse of the Month is focused towards an outstanding horse, not just one that receives the high score every meet or an "MOP horse" but one that shows heart and represents the values of its respective school.
