BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Texas A&M equestrian's Grace Boston and Keesa Luers were named the Southeastern Conference Riders of the Month for March, the league announced Thursday.

Boston earned Fences Co-Rider of the Month, while Luers won Reining Rider of the Month.

The senior from Owings Mills, Maryland, went undefeated in Fences at 3-0, including one Most Outstanding Performer honor. Boston recorded a season high ride of 87 to defeat No. 7 SMU's Emma Jolly, 87-82, on the road to open the month. She followed with wins at home riding Splendid defeating Bridgewater's Casey Poe, 79-73, to earn MOP and outscoring No. 2 Oklahoma State's Hope King, 76-72, on Rio. Between the three appearances, she averaged a score of 80.67.

Luers, a Mission, British, Columbia, native, went a perfect 2-0 in Reining, including one MOP recognition. The sophomore started the month edging SMU's Chalyce Head on Moe, 74-73, to record her first career victory. The performance earned her MOP honors, also a career first. Luers recorded her second win in the month defeating Oklahoma State's Hannah Lovrien on Uvalde, 76-74.5.

Texas A&M is next in action at the SEC Championships beginning March 25-26 at Auburn, Alabama. The Aggies enter as the top seed and squares off with South Carolina on Friday at 10 a.m. CT. For more information on the SEC Equestrian Championships, click here.
