BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas A&M men's swimming & diving program added five student-athletes to an already impressive signing class that will join the Maroon & White for the 2022-23 season. Swimmers McKennzey McDonald, Shawn Mohseni and Lane White, along with divers Matthew Aigner and Takuto Endo will join the Aggies in the fall. Â

Matthew Aigner – Katy, Texas – Diving
Aigner was a four-year letterwinner at Obra D. Tompkins High School in Katy, Texas, earning a pair of top-10 finishes at the Class 6A state meet in 2021 and 2022. Aigner was a four-time district MVP and champion, as well as a three-time Region V-6A MVP and champion. He was named an NISCA All-American in 2021. Ainger spent four years diving for Team Texas Diving and coach Wendy Lerew. He was a USA Zones qualifier and earned a spot to compete at AAU Nationals.Â
Takuto Endo - Tagajo, Japan - Diving
Endo will arrive in Aggieland after competing for two seasons at Missouri. He qualified for NCAA Championships in each of his two seasons with the Tigers, posting a top-25 finish on the platform as a freshman. Following his debut season, Endo earned All-SEC Second Team and SEC All-Freshman Team accolades after bringing home a bronze medal on the platform and just missing the podium on the 3-meter. As a sophomore, Endo qualified for NCAA Championships on the platform and 3-meter. He posted top-12 scores on each of the springboards at SEC Championships. He currently holds the fourth-highest score in Missouri history on the 3-meter (414.6) and the eighth-best score in the platform (362.05).

McKennzey McDonald – Trussville, Ala. – Fly/Free
McDonald competed for Wake Aquatics for six years, being coached by Bryan Jennings. A qualifier for the 2022 Speedo Summer Junior Nationals and 2021 Speedo Winter Junior Nationals, McDonald was a four-time finalist at the 2022 NCSA Short Course Championships. At the 2022 Southeastern Short Course Championships, he claimed the 100 butterfly and was the runner-up in the 100 freestyle, also appearing in the finals in four additional events. McDonald earned USA Swimming Scholastic All-America honors as a senior, also meeting the criteria as a sophomore and junior.Â

Shawn Mohseni – Mansfield, Texas – Back/IM
Mohseni swam for 12 years for Mansfield Aquatic Club, being coached by Cody Huckabay. He was a five-time Futures A finalist, as well as a Sectionals A finalist. Mohseni qualified for both Speedo Summer and Winter Junior Nationals and qualified for the 2022 US Open. Mohseni was a four-year letterwinner at Lake Ridge High School in Mansfield, Texas, posting top-three finishes in the 100 back at the Class 6A state meet in each of the last two seasons, adding a pair of top-15 finishes in the 200 IM. He was the top finisher at the district meet in the 100 back and 200 IM in each of his four years at Lake Ridge, boasting school records in six individual events, including a time of 48.70 in the 100 back and 1:50.65 in the 200 IM.Â

Lane White – Prosper, Texas – Free
White was a four-year letterwinner at Prosper High School, earning individual all-state and all-region honors in 2021 and 2022 in the 50 free. He holds the school records with times of 20.57 in the 50 free and 45.09 in the 100 free. White claimed district and regional championships as a junior and senior, helping his team to runner-up finishes at the district meet in each of the last three years. White spent six years competing for Texas Ford Aquatics.Â
