Texas A&M finishes No. 25 in 2021-22 LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup Standings

It marked the 16th consecutive year that the Aggies posted a top-25 finish.

CLEVELAND – Texas A&M placed No. 25 overall and No. 9 in the Southeastern Conference in the final 2021-22 LEARFIELD Directors' Cup standings. Texas A&M has now finished in the top 25 of the Directors' Cup 16 straight times.

"I'm proud of the hard work and determination of our student-athletes, coaches and staff that led to Texas A&M's 16th straight top 25 finish in the LEARFIELD Directors' Cup," Director of Athletics Ross Bjork said. "The school year included so many tremendous team efforts from the sweep of the Southeastern Conference regular season and tournament titles by the women's tennis team to the NCAA final four runs by the women's golf and baseball teams. While it was a historic year for the Aggies, we're always striving to improve and recognize that we can get better in our overall athletics performance. I'm excited about what the future holds for the Aggies."

Thirteen of Texas A&M's 19 NCAA-sponsored athletics programs contributed points to the final standings, including top 10 efforts by baseball (No. 3), women's golf (No. 3), women's outdoor track & field (No. 4), men's indoor track & field (No. 5), women's tennis (No. 5), and women's indoor track & field (No. 10).
