Aggie Baseball Hosts Walk-on Tryouts

The walk-on tryouts are scheduled for Tuesday, September 6 at 6 p.m. Any students with plans to try out must attend a mandatory meeting in the Blue Bell Park Diamond Club on Monday, August 29 at 6 p.m.

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas A&M baseball team will hold walk-on tryouts in September for students looking to compete for a spot on the Aggie roster.

The walk-on tryouts are scheduled for Tuesday, September 6 at 6 p.m.

Any students with plans to try out must attend a mandatory meeting in the Blue Bell Park Diamond Club on Monday, August 29 at 6 p.m.

Only full-time students enrolled in 12 hours are eligible for the tryouts. To participate, students need to have proof of a sports physical that has been completed in the past six months as well as results from a sickle cell blood test. Both tests may be performed at the University Health Center or by a family physician.

All candidates must obtain and provide copies of their health insurance, front and back copies of card, at the mandatory meeting. Insurance will be verified prior to tryouts.

All players interested in trying out must attend the mandatory meeting – no exceptions.
