BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas A&M men's basketball team will seek to get back on the winning track with a home matchup against the Oregon State Beavers of the Pac-12 Conference at 5 p.m. on Sunday at Reed Arena.
  • It will be the fourth meeting between the two schools in the last five years with the Aggies winning the previous three bouts - 67-64 at the Dam City Classic in Portland, Ore., in 2018, 64-49 in B/CS in 2019 and 83-73 in Corvallis in 2021.
  • The Aggies have a 3-2 advantage in the series with the Beavers taking the first two meetings in 1941 and 1976.

TRENDS & STREAKS:
  • Texas A&M will be seeking its 20th straight non-conference home victory dating back to a 73-62 loss to Oklahoma State at Reed Arena in a Big 12/SEC Challenge contest on Jan. 25, 2020.
  • Led by graduate G Tyrece Radford, the Aggies lead the SEC in free throws attempted and made. Entering Sunday, the Aggies are averaging 19.2-26.9 FTM-FTA per game. The always-aggressive Radford ranks No. 1 in the SEC in FTs made (43) and No. 2 in FT attempts (52) and is hitting 82.7% (No. 3 in the SEC).
  • The Aggies average 9.6 steals per game, which ranks No. 5 in the SEC / No. 31 nationally. The Aggies have made eight or more thefts in their last seven games (since having just three in the season opener).
  • Sophomore G Wade Taylor IV has been the Aggies' most active thief with an average of 2.6 steals per game, which ties for No. 23 nationally/No. 4 SEC.
  • Taylor has been a giver as well as a taker over the last three games with an average of 6.7 assists in games against DePaul, SMU and Boise State (20 total).
  • The Aggies have had fewer turnovers than their opponents in every game in 2022-23, including season-low efforts of nine the past two games. Texas A&M had just five single-digit turnover games in 40 games last season.
  • Texas A&M is averaging nearly six fewer turnovers per game than its opponents this season (5.9), which ranks No. 2 in the SEC / No. 13 nationally.
  • Junior F Andersson Garcia averages 4.5 rebounds/game, which is tied for second on the team, while playing an average of 14.6 minutes/game. Averaged over a full game, Garcia's rebounding numbers are 12.4/40 minutes.
  • Aggies rank No. 2 in the SEC in bench points with an average of 31.6 points from non-starters per game. Sophomore G Manny Obaseki is the Aggies' leader with 49 bench points.
