BIRMINGHAM, Ala. –?Texas A&M equestrian's Cori Cansdale, Ariana Gray and Alexa Leong were named SEC Riders of the Month, the conference announced Thursday.

Cansdale won the award in Horsemanship, Gray earned her recognition in Reining, and Leong's distinction was in Fences.

For the second straight month, Cansdale earned the award after her 2-0 performance against No. 6 Georgia and No. 1 SMU. Against Georgia's Jordan Davis, Cansdale scored 75 points to earn Most Outstanding Performer Honors. She followed with a 76.5-74-win of SMU's Megan Waldron.

Gray also went 2-0, winning one MOP honor. She defeated Georgia's Courtney Blumer, 70-69 and knocked off SMU's Dani Latimer, 73-70.5. Gray finished the regular season 10-1-2, with three SEC recognitions.

To pair with her National Collegiate Equestrian Association recognition, Leong also earned SEC honors in Fences. She completed a 2-0 record, earning MOP honors in both outings. Leong recorded a career-high 90 points against Georgia's Emma Reichow and followed with an 87-64-win over Elli Yeager of SMU.
