ATLANTA – Texas A&M Athletics' creative video unit, 12th Man Productions, earned first-place honors in two categories in the prestigious Sports Video Group (SVG) College Sports Media Awards in association with NACDA.
"We are proud of the honors highlighting the work of the 12th Man Productions Broadcast and Engineering staff who produced two national award winners in the Live Game Production categories at the SVG College Sports Media Awards," said Andy Richardson, who oversees the unit. "We have a deep commitment to empowering Texas A&M students to have ownership in our productions, so it is fitting that one award celebrates the students' achievements and the other award showcases the incredible behind-the-scenes work that goes into a live sports television production. Certainly, to be recognized by our industry peers is the ultimate compliment and we are excited for the recognition in such a talented field of nominees."
