SAN JOSE, Costa Rica – Texas A&M track & field's Connor Schulman and Jermaisha Arnold claimed gold medals for the United States on day two of the NACAC Championships at the San Jose National Stadium.

Schulman secured the gold medal for the United States in the men's 110m hurdles with a time of 13.40. He cruised through the morning semifinals, claiming first place in his heat with a time of 13.55 and qualifying second overall for the evening's final. Schulman then stepped up his performance ever further, dropping 0.15 seconds from his morning time ensuring his first-place finish.

Arnold followed suit in the women's 400m final, as the sophomore also clinched an NACAC Championship title for the Red, White and Blue with a time of 50.68. She improved her qualifying time from yesterday's semifinal by almost a full second to secure the gold medal. Arnold closes out the championships for all A&M competitors tomorrow in the women's 4x400m relay with a start time of 1:35 p.m.
