From the Desk: Coach Pat Henry

A thank you message for senior team administrator Brian Bancroft from head coach Pat Henry.

Thank You, Brian Bancroft

A message from Coach Pat Henry.

In the coaching profession when you have the opportunity to work with an assistant for 14 years it is rare. I cannot express how fortunate I have been to have Brian Bancroft.

Brian is, without question, the hardest working, committed to excellence individual I have ever known or had the opportunity to work with.

His work ethic has been second to none. As a result, our program’s organization from meet management, team travel, all facets of the position of Director of Operations could not have been any better.

There was no task I would ask of him that he would not only accept but then accomplish and set a standard of excellence that will be hard to replicate. Always looking to do a better job and please those around him. He will never be forgotten nor taken for granted.

For Brian I know his leaving is very difficult. He is a very proud Aggie who is now accepting the challenge, the next chapter of his life. The most prepared individual I have ever known has prepared himself to take on the challenge of taking care of his family. I think the love for this institution and its core values -  one of which Selfless Service becomes apparent.

That’s Brian, selfless service, something that separates him from others and makes all of us proud to say we know Brian Bancroft.

I want to personally thank Brian for helping me and our program here at Texas A&M. We have been successful in large part because of his service.
