Texas A&M Sports Science welcomes Laura Canteri, our third PhD Fellow. Laura will be providing physiology expertise to our Performance and Wellness units as well as serving as a sports scientist for our athletics programs.

Academically, Laura will be pursuing her PhD in Kinesiology at Texas A&M under the guidance of Dr. Steve Riechman. She received her Master's in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from in 2013 then later earned a full-time position as an instructor at Florida Atlantic University (FAU).

While working at FAU, Laura taught applied physiology courses and directed the internship program for the Exercise Science department. In addition, she contributed to research conducted in the Muscle Physiology lab and worked with various sports teams at the university.
