PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – The No. 3 Texas A&M women's golf team finished the second round of the Carmel Cup 10-under 350, the best round of any team in the field, on Saturday at the Pebble Beach Golf Links.

"We got off to a great today," head coach Gerrod Chadwell said. "It was a much better day. We hit some more shots and got some more birdies. The golf course isn't playing super tough, so there are tons of opportunities. With play six and count five out here, anything can happen in a hurry. We are excited to get back out there tomorrow and see what happens."

Texas A&M (364-350—714) gained ground on Stanford and Arkansas in the second 18. The Cardinal and Razorbacks both shot 6-under 354 and stood Nos. 1 and 2 on the team leaderboards, respectively. The Maroon & White were still eight shots back of Stanford for the lead heading into Sunday.
