Once I came on my visit, I knew right away this was the place I wanted to be. It was close to home, and I loved the soccer environment, the staff, the players, everything. It was a great experience, and I knew that I wanted to be a part of the team.
When we came for the game against Auburn. I loved the atmosphere and being able to watch the players on the A&M team interact with each other and how they would build each other up for the game. It was awesome to see them motivate each other.
It was always my dream to play college soccer. As I got older I went through ECNL and I played DA for a couple of years. Once I started talking to coaches, I realized the opportunity that was right in front of me.
Very well, they’re all so welcoming and they want to make me a better player and an even better person.Â
I graduated early and came in January, and I tore my ACL in February. So, I was only here a month and then I had to have knee surgery.Â
It’s been very difficult with the physical therapy. It’s definitely been a challenge and something that I’m not used to, but it’s been a great learning experience. I just have to get through it so I can get back to doing what I love.
Honestly, it’s been very hard. It was a rude awakening because I sailed through high school when it came to schoolwork. But then coming into college, it hits you all at once. It’s been fast paced compared to high school, but we’re getting there slowly.Â
My favorite player is John Stones, he played for Everton and I’m a huge Everton fan. But now he’s with Man City. He’s a center back as well. I look up to him and his playing style the best.
My determination, my grit, and just being able to be a hard worker all the time.
My dad is a soccer coach. So, I remember when I was around three, just kicking the soccer ball out in the front yard – seeing pictures now of when I was super little, even though I can’t remember those exact times. But just knowing that I’ve been playing soccer ever since.
Definitely the traditions. I feel like from the outside, the traditions can look a little crazy, but being on the inside, it’s such a cool community. Everybody here is super friendly and welcoming.
My mom and dad. They have given me the most support and they will always be there for me through the ups and downs. They help me to become the best version of myself.Â
