
Aggies Host Tennessee on Reunion Weekend

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The No. 25 Texas A&M women's swimming & diving team is set to host the No. 6 Tennessee Lady Volunteers Friday, Oct. 27 at 11 a.m. at the Rec Center Natatorium. The Aggies will also welcome back several former students for swimming & diving reunion weekend.
The Maroon & White are fresh off a pair of victories in their double dual with South Carolina and Virginia Tech, which saw the team win 14 of 16 events.
Chloe Stepanek dominated the freestyle events at the double dual, touching the wall first in the 50 free (23.05), 100 free (49.75) and 200 free (1:47.47). Olivia Theall added two top finishes of her own, sweeping the butterfly races with times of 53.56 in the 100 fly and 1:58.77 in the 200 fly.
Miranda Grana has had an impressive start to her collegiate career after she touched the wall first in the 100 back (52.49), 200 back (1:59.39) and was a key piece to the team's victory in the 200 medley relay. Grana was recognized for her outstanding performance with SEC Freshman of the Week honors.
On the diving end, the Aggies look to reign supreme for the third consecutive meet. Sophomore Joslyn Oakley was named SEC Diver of the Week after sweeping the springboards at the double dual, scoring 298.88 on the 1-meter and 326.85 on the 3-meter.
The Lady Vols look to continue their early season success after beginning their year with a 152-148 victory against Louisville, claiming nine of 16 total events.
The meet will be a 12th Man Rewards double point event and camping mugs will be given away to the first 200 fans in attendance. Fans will be able to track the meet live on the Meet Mobile app and streaming will be available on SEC Network+.
