No. 11 Texas A&M Set For Road Trips to Houston & TCU

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The 11th-ranked Texas A&M women's swimming & diving team is set to hit the road for dual meets at Houston and TCU. The Aggies will battle the Cougars on Jan. 11 at CRWC Natatorium at 1:30 p.m. and the Horned Frogs on Jan. 12 at the University Recreation Center at 2:00 p.m.

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The 11th-ranked Texas A&M women's swimming & diving team is set to hit the road for dual meets at Houston and TCU. The Aggies will battle the Cougars on Jan. 11 at CRWC Natatorium at 1:30 p.m. and the Horned Frogs on Jan. 12 at the University Recreation Center at 2 p.m. 

The Maroon & White have fared well in recent competition, defeating Rice 171-91 and earning a first-place finish in the Art Adamson Invitational.  

Chloe Stepanek is coming off a dominating performance at the Art Adamson Invitational, setting season-best times in the 100 (48.03), 200 (1:43.98) and 500 free (4:42.60). 

Giulia Goerigk also put on an impressive effort at the Invite, clocking season-best times of 1:59.03 in the 200 IM and 4:07.91 in the 400 IM. Goerigk also notched a career-best time in the 200 breast with a 2:12.48. 

Miranda Grana looks to build off recent success in backstroke competition. Grana touched the wall first in the 200 back (2:01.43) and posted a time of 51.67 in the 100 back to lead off the 400 medley relay at the Art Adamson Invite, the third-fastest time in school history. 

Joslyn Oakley returns to the springboards for the Aggies after setting a season-best score on the 3-meter at the Invite with a 355.45, placing second. Payton Props placed fourth in the 3-meter with a score of 318.70. Oakley also registered a second-place finish in the 1-meter, scoring 307.60. 

Houston placed fourth in the recent Art Adamson Invitational and is currently 1-0 in dual meet competition with a win over Tulane. TCU is 2-1 in dual meet competitions this season, with sole loss to No. 2 Texas.
