RANCHO SANTA FE, Calif. - The No. 12 women's golf team is set to take on No. 4 USC and 2023 national runner-up in the Diego Duel on Saturday, Jan. 13 at the Farms Golf Club.

The two squads will compete in a six-golfer match. Each 18-hole match will be worth one point and matches tied after 18 holes will award both teams a ½ point. If both teams are tied at 3-3 at the conclusion of the round, the winning team will be determined by most holes won.

Head coach Gerrod Chadwell will be taking Blanca Fernández GarcĂa-Poggio, Cayetana Fernández GarcĂa-Poggio, Adela Cernousek, Zoe Slaughter, Jennie Park and Mia Nixon to take on the Trojans.

The Maroon & White battled the Trojans at the East Lake Cup to close out its fall season on Nov. 1, 2023. USC defeated A&M, 3-2, with Park and Blanca Fernández GarcĂa-Poggio earning the two points for the Aggies in the thrilling match.

The match will begin at 2:30 p.m. CT on Saturday. The Farms Golf Club is located less than 20 miles away from the site of the 2024 NCAA Championships, which will be played at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa May 17-22. The Aggies have advanced to the semifinals of the NCAA Championships in back-to-back years.
