Aggies Unveil Spring Soccer Schedule

The Texas A&M soccer team released a 2024 spring slate featuring five playing dates, including three at Ellis Field.

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas A&M soccer team released a 2024 spring slate featuring five playing dates, including three at Ellis Field, head coach G Guerrieri announced Monday.

"We are excited for another stellar spring season," Guerrieri said. "The spring is an important part of the year for our players and staff. We have an outstanding group of returnees and we've welcomed in an equally outstanding group of newcomers. It's going to be fun to watch them blend together as we prepare to win championships in the fall. The spring is a true development period for our team to get faster, stronger, more coordinated and dominant in the way we want to play when the championship segment arrives in August."

The Aggies face a variety of tests in the spring as they square off against eight different opponents on the five dates. All spring matches are free to the public.

The Maroon & White open the spring schedule Sunday, March 3, when they host Dallas Baptist and Houston in 60-minute tri-matches at Ellis Field.

Texas A&M travels to nearby Waco Saturday, March 23, for tri-matches against host Baylor and UIW.

The Aggies round out the home portion of the slate with two 90-minute matches. They host UTSA Friday, March 29 and TCU Sunday, April 7.

The spring schedule wraps up Saturday, April 13 in San Marcos against A&M-Corpus Christi and host Texas State.

"This is a great spring schedule for us," Guerrieri said. "We play against some really competitive sides, including three Big 12 times.  They are coming of seasons in which they finished around .500 or better. It is good to see a lot of different teams over a short time to see how the players adapt to the challenge."

Fans have an opportunity to watch nearly the entire squad slated to participate in the fall with 21 returning lettermen and nine of the 11 newcomers enrolling in January to take part in the spring practice sessions. The returning Aggies in All-SEC performers Carolyn Calzada and Mia Pante as well as Freshman All-SEC selections Adysen Armenta and Margo Matula.
