CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The No. 9 Texas A&M women's tennis team travels to the Sunshine State to face the Miami Hurricanes, Friday at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center with first serve set for 11 a.m.

Last time out, the Aggies hosted three teams for the ITA Kickoff Weekend, sweeping both Northwestern (4-0) and TCU (4-0) to qualify for the ITA National Indoor Championship in Seattle. Each doubles pair picked up at least one win on the weekend, including a ranked win with No. 3 Mia Kupres/Mary Stoiana downing Northwestern's No. 39 Christina Hand/Justine Leong. The Aggies didn't drop one singles match to either team in the bracket.

The Maroon & White hold a perfect 4-0 record against Miami, with the last meeting ending in a 5-2 decision for the Aggies at home. A&M is undefeated on Miami's home court and looks to extend that streak behind multiple ranked players, Including the No. 1 player in the nation Stoiana, who holds a perfect 9-0 record across singles and doubles in dual matches this season.

The Aggies boast two other ranked players that compete side-by-side. On court 2, No. 31 Nicole Khirin, who holds a 3-1 singles spring record while on court 3, No. 26 Kupres carries a 3-1 singles record and 5-0 doubles record with partner Stoiana.

"Our team is looking good and we are getting better every day," head coach Mark Weaver said. "We are having great practices here at Miami and are looking forward to a very competitive match with them on Friday."
