No. 2 Texas A&M Welcomes Top 5 Conference Opponent

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION- The No. 2 Texas A&M equestrian team continues conference competition Saturday at 1 p.m. against No. 4 South Carolina at the Hildebrand Equine Complex.

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION- The No. 2 Texas A&M equestrian team continues conference competition Saturday at 1 p.m. against No. 4 South Carolina at the Hildebrand Equine Complex. 

The Aggies (6-1, 3-0) look to stay atop the SEC as they take on the Gamecocks (6-3, 1-3) for the second time this season. 

In the previous matchup, the Maroon & White took control from the start on their way to a 10-8 road victory to extend their win streak to nine and widen the all-time series margin to 24-9. 

Texas A&M Jumping Seat remains undefeated this season as they are off to the best start in program history at 7-0. Brooke Brombach leads the charge for the Aggies, compiling a record of 11-3 across the two disciplines with four total MOP awards.  

In Western, Mattie Gustin put together a perfect fall at 6-0 with two MOP honors for Reining. Cori Cansdale, Millie Landon and Hanna Olaussen are each 4-2 to lead the Aggies in Horsemanship. 

Texas A&M looks to stay unbeaten at home this season. 

Last Time Out 

The Aggies for only the fourth time in school history, and second time this season, had a clean sweep of 10-0 against Dartmouth in a Jumping Seat only meet. Senior Maggie Nealon had a career day as she posted a 96 which tied the school record set in 2017 in Flat as she earned MOP. Brooke Brombach would win MOP for Fences with a score of 87 and Ali Treuting remained flawless on the season as she moved to 5-0-1 on the season.
