BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – It was a day for celebration as the No. 11 Texas A&M women's swimming & diving team honored its 12 seniors and head coach Steve Bultman, defeating SMU 176-111 for its 10th dual meet victory of the season.
Miranda Grana, Bobbi Kennett, Olivia Theall and Chloe Stepanek clocked a 1:39.77 for the top time in the 200 medley relay to start the meet.
The Maroon & White took command in the 100 breast with Kennett (1:01.54), Charlotte Longbottom (1:02.22) and Victoria Taylor (1:02.28) filling the top three spots.
Grana added a top finish in the 100 fly (53.60) and in the 100 back, clocking a 52.95. Kaitlyn Owens finished second in the 100 back with a season-best time of 53.30.
Abby Grottle was successful in freestyle competition, recording season-best times in the 1000 free (9:40.14) and 200 free (1:46.75). Fellow distance swimmer Hayden Miller touched the wall first in the 500 free with a time of 4:45.90.
The Aggies dominated on the springboards, with Joslyn Oakley (371.55), Payton Props (309.23) and Mayson Richards (292.80) claiming the top three spots on the 3-meter. Oakley swept the springboards with a score of 315.83 on the 1-meter.
