Texas A&M Quotes
Head Coach Brian Kortan

On the day's action...
"It's was a really nice round. Southern Highlands is such a challenging course. It challenges you in every aspect of how you play the game. All our guys did a really good job. They weren't perfect. We know they won't be perfect, but they executed really well at a really high level and did the things they needed to put good scores on the board. All our guys kept themselves in position to shoot a good score all day long. That is something we need to do more of and we'll have to do it the rest of this tournament to compete for a trophy with this strong field."

On the Jaime Montojo's round...
"Jaime's been trending toward starting to put some rounds together, so it was great to see him play really well today. He did a really good job. He hit most of the greens and put himself in position to shoot a good score basically the whole day."

On Monday's expected conditions...
"It's going to get harder. The wind is going to blow really hard tomorrow with potential gusts into the 30s and 40s. It could be completely different tomorrow, but we've put ourselves in a really good position. I like where our guys are at and I like that we're getting better."
