No. 14 Women’s Golf Set to Play at Chevron Collegiate

The No. 14 Texas A&M women's golf team is set to take part in the Chevron Collegiate Feb. 26-27 at the Golf Club of Houston-Tournament Course.

HUMBLE, Texas - The No. 14 Texas A&M women's golf team is set to take part in the Chevron Collegiate Feb. 26-27 at the Golf Club of Houston-Tournament Course.
 
The Aggies will be defending their title at what was formerly the ICON Invitational. The Maroon & White rewrote the record books last year at the event, firing an astounding 34-under 830 as a team to beat the previous 54-hole record by 14 strokes. Additionally, Zoe Slaughter torched the course with a program-best 18-under 198.
 
Slaughter will be looking to defend her individual crown at the Chevron Collegiate alongside teammates Adela Cernousek, Blanca Fernández García-Poggio, Jennie Park and Cayetana Fernández García-Poggio.
 
Cernousek leads the team with a 70.53 stroke average this season and has three top-five finishes during the 2023-24 campaign.
 
The Aggies will play 36 holes on Monday with a shotgun start scheduled for 8 a.m. Live stats can be followed at golfstat.com.
