Abadie continued the battle with herself at the top of the Texas A&M history books, as she secured the first points of the championships for the Maroon & White. She broke her own school record in the women's pole vault with a clearance of 4.40m/14-5.25. Her mark placed her sixth in the event and earned her first-team All-America honors.

The dynamic duo of Scott and Connor Schulman struck once again in the men's 60m hurdle prelims. The pair both ensured berths in Saturday's final, as Scott ran a school record 7.58, which qualified him second overall, while Schulman tied his personal best of 7.59 for third.

Killebrew added the third school record of the day, this time in the women's 60m prelims. She ran a blistering time of 7.16, downing the 14-year-old record set by Gabby Mayo (7.18) and qualified herself for tomorrow's final fifth overall.

He ran in the fourth and final heat, crossing the line in 45.85 which was the third-fastest time overall and secured himself a spot in the final. On the women's side, Jermaisha Arnold also qualified for the 400m finals with a crucial final push on the home straight. She crossed the line in 52.51 which ranked her eighth among those advancing.
