COLUMBIA – The No. 11 Texas A&M women's tennis team hits the road for its final conference road stint to face Missouri Friday at the Mizzou Tennis Complex and No. 41 Arkansas Sunday at the Billingsley Tennis Center with first serves set for 2 p.m. and 11 a.m., respectively.

"It's hard to believe that this is the last regular season SEC road trip for us," head coach Mark Weaver said. "We are performing at a very high level and are looking forward to our matches with both Missouri and Arkansas."Â

The Aggies (16-6, 8-1 SEC) have won their last four matches and are looking to extend the streak to six this weekend. The Maroon & White have dominated the SEC in doubles play, securing the point in eight of their nine matches. The pairings have won 17 of their 22 completed matches in league play, and are paced by Sydney Fitch/Nicole Khirin with eight.

Texas A&M holds an 11-1 record versus Missouri (4-17, 0-9 SEC), winning the last 5 matchups, and are 6-1 when playing in Columbia. The Aggies have swept the Tigers in nine of their 11 victories, including a 7-0 sweep at home last season. The Maroon & White conclude their weekend versus the Razorbacks (10-9, 3-6 SEC). A&M has dominated the fixture in previous years, winning the last six matches and leading the all-time series 9-2. In their last meeting, the Aggies prevailed at home with a score of 5-2.
The Intercollegiate Tennis Association released a new set of team, singles and doubles rankings. The Aggies climbed two spots in the team rankings to No. 11. Mary Stoiana remains as the No. 1 singles player in the country and has topped the rankings since November. Rounding out the singles rankings is No. 18 Khirin and No. 38 Mia Kupres, while Stoiana/Kupres remain at No. 5 in doubles.
